Jesus in the Air
Before dawn on a New Hampshire beach, Warren Pease—a young U.S. Army sniper newly home from Iraq—meets Ray, a stranger he knows as Jesus. They stay together through a single day as Warren is drawn back toward the people he left behind—while memories of Iraq press in. Told in Warren’s plainspoken yet eloquent voice, Jesus in the Air is a tender, gritty novel of war’s aftermath, love, loss, faith, and grace.
